Cunninghame Cup 2010

The prestigious Cunninghame Cup was the main subject of SportNorthAyrshire’s Annual Winter Fly fishing Competition on Sunday 24th October 2010.

There was an excellent turnout of keen competitors on a beautiful clear day at the newly revamped Glenburn Trout Fishery on the Fairlie Moor, leaving only 6 of the maximum 33 pegs unfilled. Fine fish were rising well and catches were impressive.

Thanks to Paul Webster for donating the fine Picoware water jug for the winner of the heaviest fish and the new owners of the Fishery, who donated extra prizes, a great day of good sport was enjoyed by all.
